Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and half-English woman. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descendance. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. Family resided throughout Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and when they relocated to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy believes that moving to London was traumatic and that she was unable to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to go to after switching from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in shows. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actress. Her dream was granted a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
