Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born the 16th of April, 1996 on the 16th of April 1996 in Miami Florida. She is half English and the other half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish origin. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five kids, and four of them come from Taylor's father's prior marriage. She lived with her family in Buenos Aires from the time she reached the age of six up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy admitted that it was an emotional move, and refused to study English in the hope of return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to following her departure from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in productions. When she was 16, she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was approached for an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
