Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish half-English lady was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and half-English woman. His father was an Argentine from Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English ancestral roots. Her birthplace was in the family that included six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's father. The family she grew up with was living in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy said that moving was traumatic, and refused to study English since she was hoping to come back to Argentina. She had to switch schools from Northlands to Hill House. After that, she attended Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. After she turned 16, she decided to leave school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy is a child actor and was sure she would eventually become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
