Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who became the nation's sweetheart following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. The victory not only propelled her into the limelight, but also earned her a multi-album record deal in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. In the years since her win, she's released several of studio albums. In these albums three of them made it to the US Billboard 200 Chart while others were only a few centimeters away. Her name is regarded as one of the most successful American Idol artists. With her professional development it was evident that she experimented with new themes and styles of music. Sometimes, she co-wrote songs in order to express her thoughts. As a result of her distinctness and ability as a singer her work was recognized by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious award. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. Her music career is not the only thing she is involved in. She also appears in TV and movies. She also wrote the kids' book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with various charitable organizations.
