Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. He is a member of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He's also the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, his schoolmates and he were part of a group called White Eskimo. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. In spite of always having been a fan of music, he also wanted to be an attorney or physiotherapist. The local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's tune Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band needed to be split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles could be part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates for the prize. The group was placed in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. However, Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell paid a contract of 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco. Syco Record label.
