Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991, is an Canadian actress who is famous for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW television series Arrow. Rickards lived in British Columbia. In order to begin her acting career, she started by dancing and musical theater, in the hopes of eventually being able to introduce more serious acting. The actress completed the Acting Essentials Program through Vancouver Film School. Vancouver Film School after graduating from high school. Once she was done with the program and auditioned, she attended an open audition and was signed. She studied at the Alida Vocal Studio in Vancouver. Initially signed as a single-episode guest on the show, her relationship with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive fan reaction as well as her sarcastic quips led to her being first signed as a co-star on recurring basis for the rest of the first season.
